Play Minecraft with friends

What you need:

• Hamachi
• Minecraft server file

You can use the multiplayer mode Minecraft play online against others. However, if you just want to play with your friends, we recommend setting up a server through Hamachi.

Create server for Minecraft

1. First, download the server file from Minecraft down. After this is finished, click on the file so that it will be executed. When this is finished, you can first close the window again.
2. Now open the "Server Properties" file with the editor. In the "Level Name" line, you can assign a name of your choice. Now close the file and save it. Run the "Server.exe" again.
3. Now start Minecraft and choose "Multiplayer" at. Enter "localhost" in the input line of the server IP and then select "Connect". The game will start. Now all you have to do is set up Hamachi to be able to play Minecraft with your friends.

Play with friends through Hamachi

1. First download Hamachi download and install it. Then open Hamachi and assign a name for your network and a password.

2. Give your friends this data so that they can also log into the network via Hamachi with the corresponding data and thus play Minecraft with you. Note that you must first log into Hamachi before starting Minecraft.
3. A green dot should appear behind the created network in the Hamachi window. This indicates that the connection is active and can be used. Above is the IP of the local network. You and your friends have to enter these in Minecraft.
4. Now open Minecraft and select "Multiplayer". Enter the Hamachi's IP in the input line of the IP. Your friends must also log into Hamachi first. If all playing friends can be seen in Hamachi, you can start Minecraft and then play together.
