- With such a temperature controller you can achieve a constant temperature in a room. You can set different levels and thus heat a room only slightly or a little more.
- The thermostat is usually adjustable from one to five. Noteworthy is a kind of fuse that opens the valve, too, and warm water lets through when it is completely closed, but there is a risk of frost.
How to use the thermostat function
- Always think about when and for how long you will be using the different rooms. A night reduction usually regulates the system according to your settings.
- Thanks to the function of the radiator thermostats, you can also set each room individually. You will quickly find out which temperature is in which setting.
- If you use a room all the time, you set the thermostat once and you never have to adjust it again. It always provides the same warmth and only retracts when it is set at night.
- In rooms that are seldom or never used, you should leave the radiator thermostats closed. Otherwise it would be wasted money.
- To ensure that the thermostats function properly, always make sure that the radiators are vented and, above all, are clean from below and that nothing is on them. Also ensure that the rooms are ventilated regularly, preferably several times for 5 minutes rather than once for half an hour.
- When making your settings, always keep in mind that a recommended room temperature is 21 ° C. Although this is too cool for most people in the cold season, every degree more requires 6% additional heating costs.
