Wig shines so much

What you need:

• Dry shampoo
• Baby powder
• Hairspray
• oil

How to reduce the shine of your wig

Get dry shampoo. It's available at most drug stores. Dry shampoo was actually designed to make greasy hairlines disappear and those hair loosen up again. Alternatively, you can also use baby powder. However, this often leaves residues and does not have such a good effect.

1. Put some of the dry shampoo on your wig that is too shiny. Proceed as described on the package for normal hair.
2. Comb the dry shampoo powder evenly out of your wig so that no visible residue remains in the wig.
3. Your wig should now be significantly less shiny. If the hair is too straight, however, it is possible that the fine powder was unable to wrap itself around the hair and you have combed the powder completely out of your wig. The result is that the wig is still very shiny. It doesn't help here either to repeat the process. Just follow the instructions below.

2. Let the hairspray dry well and then comb through the hairpiece.
3. Now put dry shampoo or some baby powder on the wig.
4. Now comb the hair of the wig thoroughly to remove excess powder.
5. If you are still not satisfied with the result, spray on some hairspray again. Let the spray dry briefly and then apply powder to the hair again and then comb it out.
6. To fix the powder a little and thus increase the durability, spray the wig again with hairspray.
7. If even this method doesn't work well for you, you can use some oil instead of the hairspray. Fill it into a spray bottle with a very fine spray and spray just a little oil evenly on the wig. Spread it out with a comb and then apply dry shampoo to the synthetic hair. Comb it out again and your wig shouldn't be as shiny.
