VIDEO: Set the scale on Google Earth
In Google Earth allows you to view any point on earth from the air, provided that it has not been censored. You can explore your own place of residence, search for vacation spots beforehand for attractive places or check routes. It is often very useful if you can set a certain scale. Show the scale on Google Earth
- First you have to open the program Google Earth in order to work with it and also to be able to set the scale. This works by double-clicking the desktop icon or, alternatively, starting the software via the start menu with a single click.
- You can now use the wheel on your mouse, if you have one, to change the scale. Alternatively, you can also achieve this effect by holding down "+" or "-" on the right in the bar. At first, however, the scale is not displayed.
- Therefore click on "View" in the menu bar at the top. A bar opens in which you can select which special license plates are to be displayed. Click on "Scale bar" and activate the checkmark in front of this term.
