Every search query that you make on the website of Google or make the toolbar is in a timeline saved. Depending on where the search is being made, you can delete it again.

Delete history from browser

1. First of all, in order to delete entries from Google's history, you can delete the browsing history. To do this, open the browser and select the option "Delete browsing history" under "Extras". in the Internet Explorer tick "History" and, if necessary, also "Form data" and confirm this by clicking on "Remove".
2. In Firefox, however, open the "Tools" and click on "Clear recent history". Here you can limit the period from which the data should be deleted.
3. If you use Google Chrome as your browser, open the "Tools" via the wrench symbol and first select "Erase Internet data". Here you activate "Delete browsing history" and confirm this.

Remove Google searches

1. The search queries that are made via the toolbar are saved in Google Chrome. You can recognize this by the fact that search queries appear automatically even though you only enter one letter in a Google search.

2. To delete this history, select the arrow on the right in the search bar. The menu appears here in which you click on the "Delete log" link. This will remove all entries from the history.
3. In order to delete the suggestions to which the Google search refers based on your previous search queries, you must delete the cookies in the respective browser.
4. To do this, open the "Internet settings" and select the "Cookies" option. Via "Manage" you can either delete them completely or select individual cookies in order to then remove them.
