  3. Now add the millet grains to the water and cook them at a gentle simmer for about twenty minutes.

Millet and carrot pan - a recipe

Millet tastes particularly good when cooked with various vegetables. The following recipe calls for a mixture of millet, onions and carrots.

  1. First, peel the onions and cut them into very fine cubes. Then do the same with the washed carrots. Then give both vegetables in the heated olive oil.
  2. Steam everything briefly and then add the washed millet. Stir in the spices and almonds, then fill up with the vegetable stock and cook the carrot and millet pan over low heat for about twenty minutes.
