No network reception - how to do it correctly

If you no longer have network reception with your Nokia 5230, the problem can have various causes:

• It usually helps if you switch off the mobile phone and remove the battery and SIM card. Put both back in after a few seconds and restart the phone.
• If the error persists, you can reset the phone. To do this, go to the settings and select the item "Reset factory settings". The Nokia 5230 will be factory reset and your private data will be lost. It is therefore advisable to save your own data on the computer before resetting,
• If you still do not have network coverage, contact your mobile operator. It is possible that there is a defect in your SIM card and that it needs to be replaced.
• If it is not due to the SIM card, then the SIM card reader of the cell phone is defective. In this case, you must contact the manufacturer or bring the device back to the store for repair.
