Deactivate the GMX toolbar for Firefox

If you no longer want to use the GMX toolbar in Firefox, you can deactivate or completely remove it with just a few clicks using the Firefox add-on management.

  1. To do this, first open your Mozilla Firefox.
  2. If you're using Windows XP or Mac OS, click Add-ons on the Tools menu. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, you must either press the Alt key beforehand or click the "Firefox" button in the top left.
  3. You will now see a list of the extensions you have installed. Look for the entry "GMX-Toolbar".
