If you use Mozilla Firefox as the standard browser on your computer, you have the option of exporting your history. You can also save your bookmarks as an HTML file.

Export the history to Firefox

With the Internet browser Mozilla Firefox you can in a few steps your timeline export and save or back up on your computer. You only need a few steps to do this:

  1. First, start your Mozilla Firefox Internet browser via the quick launch bar or your desktop.
  2. In the internet browser click on the item "Firefox" at the top left, then go to the item "Bookmarks" and select the text "Show all bookmarks". If you are using Windows XP or have set the menu bar, click in the menu bar on the item "Bookmarks" and then on "Show all bookmarks".

Save Firefox's bookmarks to your computer

If you also want to save your bookmarks in addition to the history, you have the option of exporting them as an HTML file in Mozilla Firefox:

  1. To do this, go to the library of your Internet browser using the "Firefox", "Bookmarks" and "Show all bookmarks" buttons.
  2. Then select the point "Import and save" and click on "Export bookmarks to HTML".
  3. Then assign a file name and select the storage location and finally click on the "Save" button below.

You can also save your bookmarks on other computers with Mozilla Firefox via the "Import bookmarks from HTML" item.
