The Facebook timeline

• The Facebook timeline is called in German-speaking countries timeline. After the initial introduction of the new design, all profiles were gradually changed and the new chronicle design is now standard.
• The chronicle can be set up very easily and provided with pictures and useful information. If you liked the old Facebook design better than the current timeline, you unfortunately no longer have the option to switch.
• Fortunately, there is a relatively simple trick if you use Firefox or Chrome as your browser, with which you can use the old Facebook look again. All you have to do is download a free browser add-on.

Undo the design with a trick

The free browser extension “User Agent Switcher” plays Facebook before that you the old one Internet Use Explorer 6 or 7. The Facebook timeline design is not compatible with this browser version and the website automatically switches the display of your profile back to the old design.

1. Start Mozilla Firefox and go to the website of the add-on User Agent Switcher. Then add the extension to Firefox.
2. If you are using Chrome, just visit the Web store and download the extension there.
3. Restart your internet browser and then complete the installation of the add-on. Click on the new icon in the upper right corner and select Internet Explorer and version 6 or 7.
4. Visit the Facebook website and log in with your user data. Facebook now "thinks" that you are using a very old browser version of Internet Explorer and are restoring the old one profile-Optics. This change only affects your browser, all other users will still see your profile in the history design.
