Prepare templates for the reindeer
- First of all you need templates of the reindeer, so that you can transfer them onto the construction paper, only experienced draftsmen put this on paper without a template.
- Print out a reindeer that you particularly like and cut it out accurately.
- Then transfer this template onto the brown construction paper. The "framework" for the reindeer is now in place.
The handicrafts of Santa Claus
- Now that you have transferred the silhouette of the reindeer, cut this out too.
- Now the red construction paper is used. Paint a circle on this and cut out the circle. This now gives the nose for each of the reindeer.
- Now you need the googly eyes. Glue them to the appropriate place on the reindeer's head.
- Shape the cotton wool into a little "plush" for the chest area of Santa Claus' reindeer and glue this on too.
- Now paint the mouth and nostril with a black pencil so that the reindeer get a nice face.
