Fold a simple poinsettia out of paper

Soon the Christmas resp. Advent season and you will soon start decorating your apartment for the festival. You can now fold simple poinsettias out of paper with friends or your children on an afternoon of handicrafts.

1. For these paper poinsettias you need two square sheets of paper (for example white, yellow or red construction paper) with a side length of about 15 cm. First you fold one diagonal, open the paper and then fold the other diagonal and open the paper again.
2. Now fold the vertical center line, open the paper and fold the horizontal center line and this time open the paper again.
3. Then measure the middle on the horizontal and vertical center line and make a small pencil line. Then cut these lines down to the small line with sharp scissors. Now fold the cut corners to the middle fold line so that you get four star points. Now glue these triangular points on top of each other with a paper glue stick and you will get a simple four-pointed star.
4. Now do the same with the other sheet of paper. It can be the same color, but a two-tone paper star also looks great. After you've also folded and glued the second paper star, glue the two
