The so-called "petal fold" technique can be used to create elegant designs with little effort Invitations fold yourself.
Create the handicraft template
- Take the sheet of white construction paper and use the set square and pencil to draw a square with a side length of 10 cm in the middle of the sheet of paper.
- Now take the compass and set it to a radius of 5 cm. Place it in the middle of a line of the square and draw a semicircle outside the square. Repeat the process on the other three sides of the square.
- Finally, cut out the resulting flower-like pattern on the outside.
Fold the invitations
- Use the template to draw the outline of the card in the desired number of invitations on the dark red construction paper. Then cut out the outline.
- Fold the four semicircles of each card inward to make a square. To make the folds straight, you can place the set square on the imaginary line of the square and fold the semicircle over it.
- Then unfold the card again.
- Now cut the white paper into 6 squares each with a side length of 10 cm.
- To write Put your invitation text into these squares with the gold-colored pen and stick one in the middle of each invitation. The size of the squares of the invitation text and the card should match.
- Then fold the 4 semicircles of each card in the middle of the card and fold under the last half of the last semicircle in the first semicircle.
- Now cut an approx. 45 cm long piece from the gold-colored cord and tie it in a beautiful bow around the card.
