Napkins fold like a fan

Making a napkin fan is not difficult. Nevertheless, you should consider the following steps.
- To make a fan, you can use monochrome or multicolored napkins. You will get a particularly nice result if the napkin is only printed on the outer edge.
- First take a napkin of your choice out of the packaging. Place the napkin in front of you on a table or similar flat surface.
- Now unfold the napkin so that a rectangle is in front of you. The closed side faces you. The rectangle should also be so that the long side is parallel to you. So there is an elongated rectangle in front of you.
- Now grasp the short, right side of the napkin and fold it over to the left. The strip should be about three centimeters wide. Then fold the strip backwards like an accordion.
- Carry out the fourth and fifth steps until only a third of the napkin is left on the left.
- Now turn the napkin over so that the back is on top. The folded "accordion" is closest to you.
- Then fold the napkin along the vertical center line. The "accordion" should now be visible. Then grasp the upper left corner and fold it diagonally to the lower right corner.
- Finally, the fan is opened. Due to the folded support, the napkin stands all by itself. Then drape the napkin on the plate. She looks particularly pretty there.
