• The EasyBox 803 router comes from Vodafone. In detail, this device is a WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESSRouter that you can use in wired as well as wireless networks. You can use the handy device, for example, in combination with your DSL modem or with your ISDN line. The router dials in to your Internet provider and then establishes the connection automatically. Manual dial-in is therefore no longer necessary. The device is available in stores for just under 50 euros (as of November 2013).
• The EasyBox 803 is a decent entry-level device and offers you a very simple configuration method. The router is small and handy and can be mounted on a wall without any problems. All important connections, such as several Ethernet interfaces, a USB connection and telephone connections are available. Like any other device that you can use in a network, the router is also accessed via a special IP address and connected to other components.

Important information about the IP address

• The EasyBox 803 from Vodafone has its own IP address and can be addressed via this number in your network. Have the device connected to your computer connected via network cable, you can call up the router directly over the network. For the web interface, in which you can make all the important settings, you only need the number of the router.
• This is located on the one hand on the housing of the router and on the other hand in the instructions. You simply enter the IP address into any Internet browser and you are immediately taken to the router's login page. If you cannot find the important number anywhere, you can alternatively enter the following into your Internet browser: " http://easy.box".
• If you are still unable to establish a connection to the router, this can be due to the settings of your network card. You can call up the properties of the network connection and change the IPv4 settings. Set everything in the menu so that the addresses are obtained automatically. After accepting these settings you should be able to connect directly to the EasyBox 803.
