Why doesn't Marcophono work?
Marcophono should be known to many as a fun site for phone calls. Here people can be called, who then receive amusing audio messages. But the portal doesn't always seem to work. Here's what you can do to get the service back on track.
When the service doesn't work
- Open the Marcophono website and select a suitable scenario in the sidebar. Popular is z. B. "You are on the radio!" Provide appropriate names and include the number below. Note that only landline connections are supported. Confirm your selection with the Enter key.
- On the next page you should now be informed that it will take a few moments to set up the number. You can skip this waiting period by becoming a premium member.
- If no message appears even after several minutes, try using Marcophono with a different browser. Since the connection is quite complex, it may happen that some browsers cannot handle the data.
- Now check the version of your browser. To do this, open the developer page. Here you can find out whether a new version of the browser is already available. Download this if necessary on your computer and perform an installation.
- Now deactivate all plug-ins that are connected to the application. Ad blockers and similar services in particular can prevent Marcophono from working correctly. With these measures you can ensure that the service works again.

Use Marcophono with patience
- Behind Marcophono is a rather large and complex service that is used again and again by numerous people. It is therefore only understandable that the service is overloaded every now and then and then does not work.
- It can be assumed that the service is usually used more intensively from midday onwards. Even in the evening up to 9 p.m. there should be a lot going on on the site. If you want to get a free line, you should use Marcophono in the mornings. Make sure you have a sufficient DSL connection and interrupt ongoing downloads in the background.
