Bob got too short
A bob that is too short can be wonderfully styled into a beautiful 20s hairstyle or a wild hippie look. All you need is a little patience and the right tools.
Has the bob gotten too short - because the hairdresser had a bad day or because of the hair cut himself - then it can be quite frustrating at first, after all, you wanted a bob and not a page cut. But with the right styling, it turns into a really hot hairstyle with many possible variations.
A short bob with a 1920s look
A bob that has become a little too short can easily be converted into a beautiful page cut in the 20s look - the classic bob haircut.
- To do this, you must first straighten your hair (in case your hair is wavy or curly). To do this, apply some setting agent to the dry hair, comb it through well with a fine comb and twist the hair on thick Velcro rollers.
- Leave the curlers on for about 20 minutes and blow-dry them briefly.
- Then carefully pull the Velcro roller out of your hair and blow-dry the tips into an inner roll using a thick round brush.
- If this is too time-consuming for you, simply use a straightening iron. This also allows the tips to be turned inwards nicely.
- Now draw an exact, deep side parting and comb the hair to the side.
- Now tease the lower area - not the roots - and neatly comb the top hair over it.
- Leave a strand loosely on one side face hang and clamp the hair behind the ear on the other side.
- So that everything lasts well, you should fix the hairstyle with hair lacquer or hairspray.
Are you wearing a long bob and don't know how to best showcase it? …
Wild styling - when the bob is too short
Another option for beautiful styling when the bob has gotten too short would be a wild curly hairstyle.
- If you have natural curls, all you have to do is shape them a little so that the hairstyle doesn't look too disheveled.
- To do this, apply a spray treatment to dry hair that does not need to be washed out and twist in individual strands with your fingers. This will make the curls look neater.
- If your hair is naturally rather straight, then twist it on papillots or heating rollers.
- It is of course easiest if you twist your hair into small curls with the curling iron.
- Toup the hair a little from below, especially in the back area, and then carefully comb the top hair over it with a very coarsely toothed comb.
- As a result, the hairstyle now has a lot of volume and nobody notices that your bob has actually become too short.
And after a few weeks, the problem will be resolved, as the hair usually grows again quickly.
