VIDEO: Facebook: Deleting activities

Log in to Facebook and call up activities

• Sign up with your e-mailAddress and the associated password Facebook as you normally do.
• The start page on Facebook then opens, on which you can see the news. Then click your profile, on which you can see the activities on Facebook.

Unnecessary activities at delete

1. Use the scroll function of your mouse or the scroll bar to go to the position where the activities to be deleted are located.
2. When you hover over one of these activities, you will see a small cross on the right.
3. If you click on this cross, a window opens in which you can delete the relevant entry by clicking on the "Remove post" button.

4. A small window then opens in which you have to confirm the deletion. When you have done this, the entry for the activity has been deleted.
5. By clicking the “Cancel” button, you have one last option to cancel this process. Please note that activities deleted in this way cannot be restored.

The second menu item can be used to hide all similar activities. These are not deleted, however, but can be restored at any time by clicking the "Edit options" link on the "News" page. To do this, the corresponding activities are displayed again by clicking on the cross to the right of the hidden activity and then saving.
