Forbid comments on Facebook
On Facebook, you can leave comments on pinboards or receive them yourself. However, if you no longer want to use this function to its full extent, you can prohibit being left with comments.
Prohibit comments on your Facebook wall
If you at Facebook are logged in, you will automatically get a pin board on your profile made available. Friends can leave comments on this wall as long as you do not forbid this setting.
- In the event that you now want to prohibit comments on your pin board, you must first go to the start page by logging in to Facebook.
- Next, you'll need to start editing your privacy settings. To do this, first click on the small arrow in the top right corner to then select the menu item "privacySetting ”.
- You will then find yourself on the page where you can make settings to make your profile more secure. Now click on the “Edit settings” button next to the “How connections work” item.
- Now that another window has opened, you will find another button next to the question “Who can post on your pin board?”. If you now want to prevent people from posting comments, select the option “Only me”.
- Now just click on "Done" and you will no longer be able to post any more comments on your pin board in the future.

Leave comments on your own pin board
Not only friends You can post comments on your wall, but you can too.
- If you want to leave a comment on your wall, you have to leave a status entry. In order to leave such a status entry, you must first be logged into Facebook.
- There is now an input window in the middle of the start page in which you can leave your status entry.
- However, if you are currently on your personal page, you will also find the input window in the same place.
- When you have made your entry, click on "Post" so that your comment will be published on the home page as well as on your wall.
