Create a place of residence on Facebook
When you log into Facebook, you have various options for entering your private data and disclosing it to friends. These instructions show you how to create your place of residence.
Anyone who is self-respecting today needs one Facebook-Account. Sharing content with friends, chatting and having fun, all of this is possible with social networks without any problems. - To create the display of your place of residence for your profile, visit the personal profile page.
- At the top right click on the "Edit profile" button.
- You can now enter the place in which you live in the top box on the first page.
- Then click on "Save change" below. You have now created your place of residence.

Residence - who can see him
- In order to make your place of residence visible in your profile, you now have to set who is allowed to see everything and where you live. To do this, click on the symbol (cogwheel) next to your place of residence.
- There you can now choose between public, only you, only yours friends or custom. You can make advanced settings under user-defined. Z. B. you can make your place of residence only visible to certain people or to the friends of your friends. Place a check mark next to the setting you want. Your place of residence has now been created.
- If you want to be sure that the change worked, you can go to "View my profile" above. This is what shows what your friends can see when they visit your profile page. Your place of residence should now also be visible here.
Your place of residence can of course also be changed at any time, e.g. B. after moving. You can also delete your place of residence at any time under this menu item.
