VIDEO: Make muffin cases out of paper

instagram viewer

Often enough it happens that the muffin batter is ready, but the muffin cups are not enough. Now you could fill the dough into the baking pan without the muffin cups. The muffins stick only a little on a non-stick coated dish and the finished cake can still be removed. The muffins then don't look so nice and the mold needs to be rinsed. This would not be necessary when using paper cases. A replacement can therefore be created quickly.

Determine the basic shape of the muffin cups

  1. Take one of the prepared cupcake liners and unfold it.
  2. The circle is the template that you can cut out of baking paper.
  3. If you do not have a finished pan, measure the baking pan.
  4. The circle for the muffin molds has a larger radius than the bottom surface of the recesses by the depth of the mold.

It is well known that muffins and cupcakes are really tasty. But knew ...

  6. Draw the circles on normal baking paper and cut them out.

Shape the baking paper

  1. Inside the parchment paper circles, mark the circle for the bottom surface.
  2. Place the ruler in such a way that the shortest connection between the inner circle and the outer circle is. (Perpendicular to both circular paths)
  3. Run the knitting needle or the back of a knife along this line to make a fold.
  4. Move the ruler two to three millimeters forward along the circular path. Again you should choose the shortest connection.
  5. Keep going until you come full circle.
  6. Turn the parchment paper circle over.
  7. Fold the space between two drawn folds on the back.

Use the homemade paper cupcake liners

  1. Place the folded parchment paper circle on one of the indentations in the baking sheet.
  2. Gently push the circle down.
  3. The folds are now folded up and form the walls of the muffin case.
  4. Fill the molds with batter as usual and bake the muffins.
