Sewing yourself made easy

  1. Place the circles of fabric for your pillow on top of each other turned right side out and fasten the pins again on the edge. The seam allowance should be approx. 1 cm.
  2. Thread a thread that matches the color of your fabric into a sewing needle and sew the two parts together with simple stitches except for an opening. If you feel comfortable, you can also use a sewing machine that speeds up the sewing process.
  3. Turn the pillowcase the right way round and fill the inside with soft cotton wool.
  4. Sew the opening carefully so that no cotton wool can ooze out.

  • Alternatively, you can also use a pillow inlay according to these instructions. It has the advantage that you can take it out of the pillowcase at any time and thus wash the pillowcase.
  • To do this, leave the opening open and sew the edges with cleaner stitches. Attach small snaps that can be easily closed and opened again.
