Hide comments in Facebook
Whether photos or status reports, almost nothing goes uncommented on Facebook. If you want to hide the comments from certain people, you can do so in your settings. Here's how it works.
Just sharing content does Facebook for you and yours friends Interesting. The comments on the respective posts can sometimes be quite funny and lead to a lively conversation. But if there are people on your friends list who shouldn't read your comments, you can do so. The step-by-step instructions below show you how to proceed.
How to hide comments on Facebook - instructions
- The first thing you need to do is get into your FacebookAccount log in. You get to the start page.
- On the left side, to the right of your profile picture, is the link "My profile to edit". Please click on it.
- On the left under all menu items there is another link "privacySettings ", click on it now.
- A box is now displayed in the middle of the page in which you can make various settings. Please click on "Custom Settings" below.
- Under the menu item "Things that other people share" is the second item "Permission to comment on your posts". Use the mouse to select "User-defined" on the adjacent button.
- A small window will now open showing who can read your comments. At the bottom of the box you can enter the names of the people you want to hide the comments from. Then click on "Save settings".
- The window closes and you return to the previous page. On the button next to the menu item "Approval to comment on your contributions" is now e.g. B. displayed "friends of friends; except... There you will find the names of those from whom your comments will remain hidden. You can edit and undo these settings at any time.
