  • With this engine, the ninja accelerates from standstill to 100 km / h within 3.4 seconds. The maximum speed is given as 246 km / h.

The Kawasaki ZX-7R is available as a tightened version

  • The performance of the Kawasaki ZX-7R is already quite impressive in the basic version.
  • In order for the manufacturer to participate in the Superbike World Championship, a homologation model of a tightened version of the ninja was produced in a small series in accordance with regulations.
  • This model has an additional "R" in the model name and, as the ZX-7RR, differs from the basic version in some details such as gear ratio and engine output.
  • On the engine side, four Keihin flat slide carburetors with a passage of 41 mm were installed in the racing version instead of the constant pressure carburetors.
  • This means that the double R version has an output of 18 kW resp. 24 hp more than the ZX-7R. The maximum power of 90 kW resp. 122 hp is 11,800 crankshaft revolutions per minute.
  • The maximum torque increases by 4 Nm compared to the basic version and is provided at a speed of 9,300 revolutions per minute.
  • Thanks to this additional power, the top version reaches a top speed of 264 km / h, which is suitable for the racetrack.
