Request a return slip for Amazon

At Amazon you can order books, consumer electronics and many other items very easily and without complications. Usually delivery takes place within one day. If you do not like an article, you can send it back within a month as a return if you have not used it yet. Returns are free if you print out a return slip.

Initiate the return at Amazon

1. Log in to Amazon. Log into your Amazon customer account a. You will see the orders from the last 30 days that are eligible for a return, clearly listed.

   

2. Submit a return request. Click on the appropriate button next to the item that you want to return. Enter the number of items to be returned and a reason for your return.

   

3. Print out the return slip. If the return is accepted by Amazon, you can print out a return slip. This is displayed in the next step and can be printed out directly. You can then send the goods together with the return label to the return center.

   

Returns: You should pay attention to this

If you are not responsible for the return or the value is over 40 euros, you do not have to bear the costs. This is the case when the item does not meet your expectations or its quality is insufficient. If you return an item because you do not like it, you will have to pay the costs yourself.

The Amazon return slip consists of two parts. Cut it apart and put the return label with the scan code in the package. You do not have to enclose the invoice.

You apply the package label to the package. You can hand this in at the post office and trace the return using the tracking number.

At Amazon, the return slip is only valid for the items that have been combined in the respective order. If you want to return several items from different orders, you have to pack a separate package for each order.

For some items that have been ordered a long time ago, you cannot print out a return slip. In such a case, you must submit a warranty claim via the members area.

Conclusion: Have the purchase price of ordered goods reimbursed

Returns and the resulting reimbursement are relatively easy at Amazon and can be made regardless of the payment method. In most cases there are no costs for you as a customer. For an order that was placed a long time ago, you can often only submit a warranty claim. Please also note that these instructions only apply to products that were ordered directly from Amazon. The procedure is different for third-party sellers.
