Preparation of the tree

  1. Since a tinkered tree is a somewhat larger object, a little preparatory work is necessary in order to obtain the required stability. The best thing to do is to crumple up newspaper and lay it out the way you want your tree to look in the end.

  4. When your tree has taken the shape you want, let it dry. This can take a few days.
  5. After drying, you can work on the tinkered tree with sandpaper. Then give your tree a nice coat of paint with poster paints and you have a very beautiful tree.
