SIM card: restore numbers
Modern smartphones can do a lot, but unfortunately also not everything. If you have deleted the numbers on your SIM card, there is only one way you can have the numbers recovered.
Import numbers from SIM card
- It is generally advisable to save your phone contacts not only on the SIM card, but also in the phone book or on the additional memory card.
- If the SIM card is defective, all of the numbers can suddenly be gone and you can no longer access them.
- You can only protect yourself against this if you first import the digits into the internal phone book of the mobile phone. How the process works can be found in the user manual, because the procedure is different for each operating system.
Restore without a backup
- If you have not backed up the numbers in the phone or on the PC, it will be very difficult to restore them. Unfortunately, there is still no method of reading the card on your own computer at home.
- You can use your Telephone provider Contact and ask where there is a specialist in your area who is able to read the SIM card like a storage medium on the computer. However, there will be some costs associated with this method.
- Some Smartphone-Models have a corresponding application that takes on the same task of a "recovery tool" and is therefore able to easily restore the data. However, you may also have to pay a few fees for the app.
- As a rule, it is advisable to create a backup of all important data from time to time. As soon as something changes in your saved phone numbers or other important things, it is absolutely necessary to update the data.
