  • Before you assemble your CD shelf, you must attach the square strips to the side and partition walls. So first take a pen and mark the places for the square sticks. If you start at the top, draw a line every 2 cm. So you should then have 15 lines on your side and dividing walls.
  • Lines must of course be drawn on both sides of the partition walls. Then coat the square strips with wood glue and glue in such a way that the lower edge of the square strip is flush with a line.
  • In addition to the wood glue, you can also screw the sliding strips together with small wood screws. After you have attached all the drawers, you can put your CD shelf together. First, place the side panels on the left and right of your base plate. The side parts must be flush with the base plate on the left and right.
  • You have coated the side parts with wood glue beforehand. After drying, they are screwed together with wood screws. At the points where you want to screw in the wood screws, you have to work a little with the countersink beforehand so that the screw heads disappear in the wood of your self-made CD shelf.
  • As with the side panels, proceed with the partitions. You have a line every 12.5 cm on the top and base plate - this is where you place the inside of your partition. Of course, you have previously coated the partition with wood glue again. When the wood glue on your CD shelf has dried, screw the partitions together with small wood screws.
  • Now your CD shelf should only be missing the top and back panels. To brush Reinstall the side and partition walls with wood glue and carefully put the cover plate on. As with the base plate, lower the points on the cover plate where you want to screw in your wood screws.
  • Finally, the rear wall is attached to your CD rack. Arrange the back wall and drive in a small nail every few mm until nails have been driven all around. Now it's done: Your self-made CD shelf is ready.
