Contents of the "Magic Flute" - 1. act

• The daughter of the "Queen of the Night" Pamina is held captive by Prince Sarastro, who is to be freed by the young Prince Tamino. The bird catcher Papageno is at his side to help. Tamino gets a picture of Pamina and falls in love with her.
• Before Tamino and the bird catcher set out to free Pamina, Tamino receives a magic flute and Papageno receives a carillon - to help in case of danger.
• In the Temple of the Sun, Papageno meets Pamina, who is about to flee, and tells her about Tamino's love. Meanwhile, Tamino arrives at the temple and learns of Sarastro's good intentions.
• The supervisor Monostatos has Papageno and Pamina tied up by his slaves. However, in his desperation, Papageno thinks of the carillon, after which all evil is enchanted.
• Thereupon Sarastro condemns the Moor Monostatos and leads him to the examination temple together with Tamino.

Contents of the "Magic Flute" - 2. act

• In order for Tamino and Pamina to be accepted into the Temple of Wisdom together, Tamino and Papageno should be three beforehand exams exist. • Papageno is also alone and wants to end his life. When the carillon has sounded, Papagena appears and both are happily united.
• Meanwhile, the "Queen of the Night" and Monostatos storm the underground passages of the sun temple to destroy Sarastro. But this plan fails and the evil is defeated. Last but not least, Tamino and Pamina are blessed by Sarastro and accepted into the circle of initiates.
