Advantages and disadvantages of devices with an exhaust hose

• The main disadvantage of devices with an exhaust hose is of course that there must be an opening to the outside through which the hose can be laid. This can, for example, be a window- or door crack.
• A mobile air conditioner without this hose does not need this opening, but it also has a lower cooling capacity and can therefore also increase power consumption if necessary.
• A disadvantage of a device with a hose is that warm air can also get back into the room through the gap through which the hose is laid to the outside.
• In the case of permanent use in a certain room, it is therefore advisable to create a permanent opening in the wall here. This can eliminate this disadvantage.
• Mobile air conditioners with an exhaust hose have a higher cooling capacity than those without this hose. They can also cool the room down more quickly.
