This is how you build the Kettler model "Sven"

  1. First of all, you should choose the place for the "Sven" swing in your garden. This must be designed in such a way that there is enough space to the front and back so as not to hinder the swinging movements.
  2. Then unpack all the parts and lay them down in front of you so that you can see everything clearly.
  3. It is very easy to assemble because the "Sven" model, like all other Kettler models, can be easily put together. Slide the ground rod sections into each other and then insert the screws into the holes at the points where the two sections overlap. In this way, the sections can no longer separate from each other.
  4. Then screw the two horizontal connecting rods tight. These ensure even more stability.
  5. The assembly of the upper cross bar, on which the swings are hung, is correspondingly simple. You need to attach these to the support bars and screw a cover on the corners.

Setting the swing in concrete ensures a secure hold

  1. Place the swing in the place in the garden where the space provided for it is and mark the points on the ground.
  2. Take the scaffolding back to the side and dig deep holes at the marked points so that the swing anchor feet can later be concreted in. Work exactly here.
  3. Mix the concrete according to the instructions, place the anchor feet in the holes and pour them with concrete.
  4. Let the concrete harden completely before you attach the swing to the scaffolding.

The "Sven" model offers you various options: You can use a simple board swing attach to the suspensions, but Kettler also has a plate swing or even a gondola to offer. For very small children there are also special baby swings in which your little one is secured all around and cannot fall out.
