You can also gently poke the bottom of the bottle against a wall or tree trunk. This will slowly force the cork out of the neck of the wine bottle. Be careful, however, that this method can damage or break the bottle very quickly. Protect the wine bottle from breaking by additionally wrapping a cloth around the bottle and really very carefully pushing against the bottom of the bottle.
