Only really take care of tit babies when they are in need. This is only the case if the young birds are injured, hypothermic or weakened.
- Rearing young tits is very difficult and, above all, time-consuming. Eating is not cheap either. Therefore, if possible, seek help from a wildlife sanctuary or the local animal shelter.
- Very small tit babies without plumage are not yet able to maintain their body temperature on their own. You always need a source of heat, for example a hot water bottle.
- You can accommodate the little birds in a bucket in which you put a hot water bottle. You should put a thick woolen hat or something similar, which serves as a net replacement, over the bucket. It makes sense if you cover this nest with kitchen paper, which you can change as soon as it is full of faeces.
Rearing alone is not enough. Proper preparation for release is just as important. What young tits eat
Tits are insectivores. The young birds are also included insects raised.

- Small, naked tit babies need to be fed at least every 30 minutes - from early in the morning, as soon as it starts to get light, until late in the evening, when it is completely dark. You should only feed very weak animals at night.
As soon as the young tits have feathers and start jumping around, you should have the food freely available. This is how they learn to eat independently.
