What you need:

  1. Wash the turkey meat for your beef jerky under cold, flowing water water thoroughly.
  2. Then pat the turkey breast thoroughly dry with kitchen paper.
  3. Now put the meat in a freezer bag.
  4. Seal the bag well so that no additional oxygen can reduce the quality of the turkey meat. If you want to make beef jerky yourself, you have to treat the meat carefully so that it can be kept for a long time.

  6. Now freeze the poultry for at least an hour. This gives you a firm edge structure that enables you to cut the meat into very thin slices. Pieces of meat that are not frosted give way very easily when cut. This makes it difficult for you to cut smooth slices from the piece of meat.
  7. However, do not allow the poultry meat to freeze completely. In that case, it would be even more difficult for you to cut the piece of poultry into thin slices. It is sufficient if the outer layer is frozen through by about one centimeter. That takes a good three hours.
  8. Now cut the meat slices lengthways into thin strips. The meat slices should not be thicker than five millimeters. Thinner is always better in terms of taste.
  9. The width of the turkey strips should not be more than 1.5 centimeters. Define the width of the strips of meat so that you can easily bite off the meat.

How to season a good dried meat

  1. Mix the eight tablespoons of Sweet Asia sauce with the five tablespoons of BBQ sauce, ten tablespoons of light soy sauce and three tablespoons of dark soy sauce.
  2. Stir until a homogeneous mass has formed.
  3. Now mix the spice stock with the turkey strips thoroughly. Literally knead the spice stock into the turkey strips. If you make beef jerky yourself, you have to make sure that the pieces of meat are completely infused with the spice stock. The spices are not so much for the taste as they are for the taste durability of the flesh.
  4. Now leave everything covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator Pull for at least twelve hours. According to the laws of osmosis, marinade requires at least 24 hours to penetrate one centimeter into the meat.

How to make dried turkey meat
