Would you like to decorate your envelopes with beautiful designs? Then of course you can paint it. But you also have the option of designing your envelope yourself with special Deutsche Post stamps. You can find out how to do this here.

It takes some effort to design your own post with Deutsche Post stamps. But if you want to send unique items, you shouldn't shy away from the expenditure of time.

Deutsche Post's internet postage stamp

  1. In order to provide your post with self-designed stamps, you need an internet connection and an account with Deutsche Post. For this you have to either go to the homepage of DHL or also the German Post register yourself.
  2. Load the account with a credit of at least 10 euros. This can be done quickly and easily via PayPal, for example. If you want to send parcels, for example, you save 1 euro per parcel sent when you print out an internet postage stamp. In the case of parcels, the saving is still 20 cents per item. You can also add an internet postage stamp to books and shipments of goods.
  3. Next, select the recipient to whom the post or the parcel should go. Also provide information about the format of the letter and the weight. The right offers will be displayed to you immediately.
  4. Now all you have to do is provide the address details so that the post is sent to the correct addressee. You can also omit this and write the addressee yourself on the envelope.

  5. Print out the stamps on a label or normal A4 paper. In the latter case, you'll need to glue them to the envelope with glue.

This is how you design internet postage stamps yourself

If you do not provide the address, you have the option of making the Deutsche Post Internet stamps particularly attractive. A large number of different templates are available on the Deutsche Post or DHL website for this purpose.

  1. You can select the motifs by clicking either on the symbol for letters, parcel or parcel.
  2. The standard image now appears, which you can of course keep as well.
  3. In addition to this example, you will find, among other things, the "Change motif" option. When you click on it, you will be presented with different categories for you to choose from in small size photos.
  4. If you choose one of these photos, it will be displayed instead of the standard image and also printed out later.
  5. Now you just have to choose the value of the self-designed Deutsche Post stamps and you can print them out.
  6. But please remember to use each expression only once. These stamps are canceled automatically. So it is noticeable if the same print is used again later as a copy. You must expect considerable civil and criminal law consequences if you use Deutsche Post's internet postage stamps several times.
