You have a bunch of JPGs on your PC that you would like to convert to TXT files so that you can edit them properly. However, you are at a loss because what you have tried so far has failed. There is a simple solution to your problem and it can be described in just one word: Google.

What you need:

  • Google account

Convert JPG to TXT

  1. To your pictures To be able to convert to text files, first create a Google account. If you already have one, simply log in. So that no misunderstandings arise: If you have an email address with Google, you also have an account and can log into it with the data from your email.
  2. Now just go to the Document area from Google. You will be able to see a drag-and-drop menu here, which you can use to load the corresponding JPG file.
  3. Now open the table of contents of the Google Docs area and you will see a list of all the files that you have uploaded so far. Now look for the corresponding JPG file in the list and go to Actions next to it.
  4. A whole range of options now opens up to you. Next to Delete and Share, you'll see the Download option.
  5. All you have to do is select the "Download As" option and you will be able to choose any document format you want.

This is how converting works in the other direction

  1. If you want to convert your newly converted text files back into images, download a PDF creator and run the loaded file to install it. You can also open the document to be converted in the process.
  2. In the document menu, select the Print option and in the window that opens, specify the PDFCreator as printerbefore you send the conversion job by clicking on Print.
  3. The PDF creator you just downloaded should then open, select the JPG format under Settings and below Formats and save the changes.
  4. All you have to do is select a storage location and confirm. You will finally find your picture in JPG format at the appropriate storage location.

Of course, you can also use Google to convert from TXT to JPG, and the other way around when converting TXT to JPG, you can use the PDF-Creator. Just try both ways and decide which one suits you better.
