Otherwise it would cast too big a shadow in the neighbor's garden. Before setting up a wooden privacy screen, you should find out about local regulations.
  2. First, you start by attaching the posts. You can dig holes and pour a small concrete foundation for each post. The posts are then secured with anchors. Alternatively, you can also use so-called bottom impact sleeves. You drive these sleeves into the ground with a sledge hammer and attach the posts to them.
  3. The distance between the posts should not be more than 2 m. The closer the individual posts are to one another, the more stable the privacy screen will be.
  4. In the next step, you attach two battens to the post. Mount the first one about 30 to 40 centimeters from the bottom and the second batten at the same distance from the top edge. You have to saw the battens so that the individual joints are exactly in the middle of a post. The slats are attached with nails. If you prefer, you can also attach the slats with screws.
