Cooking beef in a pressure cooker
If you have to go fast: Beef is great to prepare in a pressure cooker. With a good recipe, cooking in a pressure cooker is easy and always works.
Ingredients:
- 650 g beef
- Soup greens
- 1 onion
- 40 g butter
- 40 grams of flour
- 1/2 broth
- 1/2 stick horseradish
- milk
- Lemon juice
- salt
- pepper
How to cook beef with sauce in a pressure cooker
- First, let ½ l water bring to the boil in the pressure cooker.
- Wash and cut the soup vegetables.
- Peel and chop the onion.
- Wash the beef (approx. 650 g) briefly with water.
- Now add the soup greens, onion and beef to the pressure cooker.
- Close the lid and let the ingredients cook for 20 minutes.
- In the meantime, prepare the sauce for your beef. To do this, melt about 40 g butter or margarine in a saucepan.
- Rub about half a stick of horseradish with a grater as small as possible.
- You should now turn the horseradish into something milk stir in.
- Now put 40 g of flour in the saucepan filled with butter. Erase the whole thing with ½ l meat- or vegetable broth.
- Now add the horseradish milk mixture to the sauce. You may need some more sauce binder for the binding.
- Then you can season the sauce with salt, pepper and lemon juice as you like. Of course, you can also serve the beef with a classic gravy.
- After 20 minutes of cooking, take the beef out of the pressure cooker. Let the beef cool down briefly and then cut it open.
- Serve Your beef along with the horseradish sauce.
- As side dishes you can have boiled potatoes and a green one salad are sufficient. Dumplings and red cabbage also go well with beef.
