• Create a garbage box from steel posts for garden fences and tarpaulin stretched between them. This solution is particularly practical if you want to hide several garbage cans behind a privacy screen. The variable attachment of the posts means that you are not tied to a given size.

3. In the next step of the assembly instructions, cut the side parts to size. Cut the height so that the pieces are an inch shorter than the posts. This enables air to be supplied to the garbage can box. From the width select the length so that the walls fit exactly between the posts.
4. When cutting the back wall, make sure that it is two centimeters shorter than the side walls. Select the width so that it is flush with the outside of the post.
5. In the next step, cut the door leaf to size. Adjust this so that the distance to the posts is one centimeter each.
6. Also cut the door frame. Screw the horizontal strips of the frame onto the upper and lower edge of the door from behind.
7. Now screw three hinges to the door. It does not matter whether these are attached to the left or right. Choose the side so that the garbage can cladding can be easily opened later. Then attach the locks to the door that match the mounting side of the hinge.
8. Finally, attach the lid. Cut the boards to size and place them so that the long sides are together. Use spacers to create an even arrangement.
9. At the end, fix the boards with two strips. Leave an edge free on the strips so that the cover lies flat on the post.
10. So that you don't have to open the lid of the garbage can and the cover separately, attach a simple pull chain between the lids.
