Repairing a burn hole in the car seat - this is the best way to proceed
- Use the nail scissors to remove the burnt loops of material around the burn hole and then vacuum the area particularly thoroughly with the vacuum cleaner.
- Now of course you need replacement slings. Find a spot on the car seat, preferably under the seat, where you can cut off some of these loops.
- The burn hole is then filled with the glue and allowed to dry for at least half an hour. Then apply a little more glue and let it dry again briefly.
- Now press your replacement loops into the adhesive with the tweezers. Please pay attention to the course of the loops when doing this work in order to get the best result. Then press briefly with your thumb.
- After another ten minutes of drying, take the rubber roller and stroke the repaired burn hole several times.
- If there are still a few loops left, you can easily cut them off with the nail scissors.
- Finally, take regular hairspray and spray over the area. Now the burn hole is optimally repaired and the costs saved for an expensive professional repair.
