Bavaria is a federal state that has always been considered special: It is a Free State and many people do not really count it - which is meant jokingly - as Germany. Statistically, however, more and more Germans are moving to the southern federal state. If you dare to take the step and move to Bavaria, a few useful pieces of information will help you.
Use the infrastructure wisely
The capital and by far the largest city in Bavaria is Munich. That is why many Bavarian immigrants are drawn there.
- But Munich is not only huge and beautiful, it is also very, very expensive. Very high rental prices are charged even for small apartments.
- That's why you should be with one relocation perhaps consider switching to one of the other larger cities, for example Nuremberg, Regensburg or Augsburg.
- Otherwise you can find very cheap apartments and houses in the countryside. But remember that living in a rural setting is very different from living in a city.
- In Bavaria there are many villages that do not even have a pedestrian zone with shops or their own schools. There you live secluded, but surrounded by really beautiful nature.
- Please note, however, that many people in Bavaria are described as solitary and not exactly open to strangers. It can therefore take a while to make friends in the village, while you will meet new friends more quickly in Munich.

- Bavaria has above-average beautiful weather. Due to its southern location, the summers are warm and almost Italian in appearance.
- The winters, on the other hand, are very snowy, especially in the mountainous regions. It is advisable to have a car that is suitable for snow there.
- Bavaria is also characterized by the fact that there is almost no heavy industry there. That makes jobs in this area rare, but it ensures great air quality.
- Nevertheless, the economic situation in Bavaria is pretty good. Especially if you work in the tech industry, you will find a job there quickly.
- The media industry is also well represented in Bavaria. Several publishers and television stations have their headquarters in Munich.
As you can see, the state of Bavaria has many advantages. If you want to move there, you should just be aware that the weather is special and the rents are sometimes very expensive.
