  6. Then loosen the fastening of the fan blade and loosen the screws from the drum bearing.
  7. So that you can take the V-belt out of the dryer, pull the rear panel a little to the side.
  8. Some devices have carbon brushes on the rear wall. Be careful not to let them fall out.
  9. Place the new drive belt over the drum and reinstall the drum bearing. When you put it on, make sure that the rubber sleeve and the sealing felt remain on the back wall.
  10. Next, the front fan blade clamp must be removed. You can cut open a pressed-on clamp and replace it with a normal clamp.
  11. You can carefully spread the shaft of the wing forward until the wing can be pulled over the shaft.
  12. Now place the V-belt over the motor shaft and guide the belt over the tensioning pulley so that it can be tensioned by the spring balancer.
  13. Now all you have to do is put the fan blade back on the shaft and tighten the clamp.
  14. Reassemble everything and start the dryer for a test run. If you have an exhaust air dryer, you do not need to carry out some work steps.
