 How to order the online ticket

  9. On the next page, some more information is requested. So you have to z. B. decide on a payment method, enter your personal data and choose an identification card. With this you then legitimize yourself on the train as the legal owner of the ticket. And you have already successfully completed the booking process.

The most important information about the printed DB ticket

  • Personal tickets: DB online tickets are personal tickets. This means that these are not transferable. The DB online tickets are only valid for the person named on the ticket.
  • Ticket control: When starting your journey, please have your DB online ticket ready and the identification card you have chosen. During the ordering process, you can opt for a Bahncard, a credit or account card or an identity card.
  • DB online ticket for children: There are no online tickets for children like this. If your child travels alone, you must have the ticket sent to you for a processing fee of € 3.50.
