This is how you permanently suppress the number

You can set on your mobile phone whether the caller can see your number or whether he can only read the message "anonymous" when you call him and suppress the number.

• To do this, switch on your mobile phone. Make sure that the battery has sufficient capacity.
• Then enter your PIN number. You have three attempts to do this. Only then will the PIN be blocked and you can unblock it by entering the PUK number.
• You will next see the desktop of your mobile phone. Open the main menu.
• You will find the "Call settings" under the menu item "Settings". Select this rubric.

• You now click on "send own number". There is often a tick here that you have to remove. Then click on “save”. Now you can see that the "Send own number" is no longer highlighted. This tells you that this function is inactive.

• With many cell phones you can choose whether you want to suppress the number depending on the network. Then select “No”. Nobody can see your number anymore.

Set up the one-time suppression on the mobile phone

If you only want to make a call where the called party cannot see your phone number, you can do this on your mobile phone. The suppression is then one-time and the number is sent again with the next call.

• To do this, you have to click on the "Settings" of your mobile phone again. Then select "Call Settings". You will then see several submenu items. One of them is the "one-time number suppression".
• Select this sub-item. Then confirm your entry by clicking on "save".
• Your next outgoing call will now be shown as "anonymous" as the caller and the suppression will take place once. The next time you make a phone call, your phone number will be transferred again as normal.
