Here's how to delete music from your iPhone

Even if that iPhone is very user-friendly and easy to use in many ways, unfortunately it turns out to be relatively cumbersome, music from iPhone. You can't do this directly via that Smartphone. Instead, you have to laboriously connect the device to iTunes first. To delete music from your iPhone, do the following.

  1. Connect your iPhone to your computer using the cable supplied. If iTunes does not start automatically, you will have to do this manually.
  2. In the iTunes sidebar on the left you will find the “Devices” field. Your iPhone should also be displayed. Click the iPhone that appears, then click the Music box that appears at the top of iTunes.
  3. To delete music from iPhone, you need to switch to manual song management first. Therefore, remove the check mark next to “The entire music library” in the “Synchronize music” field and select “Selected playlists, artists, albums and genres”. Also deactivate the function “Automatically fill free space with titles”.
  4. Now remove the ticks from those playlists, artists and albums that you want to delete from your iPhone. The music is now deleted from the iPhone, but of course it remains available on your computer.
