Requirements for internet access

If you borrowed a hard drive receiver directly from Sky, you can use it to connect to the Internet via WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS or a LANcable produce. 1. Connect with LAN cable. If your Sky receiver has an Ethernet interface, you can connect it to a router using a network cable. To do this, plug the LAN cable into the green socket.

3. Reorder WLAN module. The Sky receiver does not have an integrated WLAN module. You can do this at Sky for € 45.90 reorder. Just enter your customer details. Instead of the original module, you can also use a device other manufacturer to use.

   

4. WLAN on receiver. Connect the WLAN module and the receiver with an Ethernet cable. Also supply the device with power. The configuration now starts automatically. Enter your WiFi password on request and test the connection after it has been established.
