The subjects in class 5 differ significantly from those in the primary school. Still, there are some similarities. Repetitions of the primary school material should bring all children in a class to the same level of ability.

The most important subjects in class 5

Learning in the 5th Class - this is how the beginning lessons are structured

  • Major subjects are usually taught three hours per week, minor subjects two hours.

The initial lessons in a secondary school are new, exciting and, last but not least, exhausting for many children. As a mother or father, you should therefore try to support your child in his or her independence, but still keep an eye on his or her learning development.
