On the one hand, the room should be supplied with sufficient heat energy and, on the other hand, the floor should not be too hot. This is then very uncomfortable on the feet. But if that is not the case, then you have to lend a hand yourself.

• The flow temperature should always be based on the outside temperature. This means that the colder it is outside, the higher you should set the flow temperature.
• Rooms that are heated exclusively by underfloor heating always take a little longer to reach the desired room temperature. Therefore, you should always plan a day in advance.
• Basically, you could set the flow temperature just as high as you would with radiators. But that would make itself felt very uncomfortably on the feet. You should therefore not set the flow temperature of the underfloor heating higher than 35 degrees Celsius.

• It is a mistake to say that a lower flow temperature can save heating costs. If the flow temperature is low, more time is required to heat the room. In addition, the electricity costs increase because the circulation pumps run permanently at high output.
