VIDEO: Cancel WoW subscription

• World of Warcraft or "WoW" for short by Blizzard is the most popular online role-playing game on the market. In order to be able to actively participate in the virtual world, monthly payments are required. These can be paid for in two ways: One-time payments (Gamecards, Giropay, T-Online) or subscriptions (credit card, ELV)
• If you have paid for a subscription using the former method, it will be automatically canceled after the deadline set. Your account will be frozen until you redeem a code or choose a payment from the second category.

If you have paid for your subscription by credit card or ELV, you can cancel as follows.

Cancel the WoW subscription

1. Log into your Battle.net account.
2. At the top right of the page, click Account.

3. Now select your WoW account.
4. You will now see the Unsubscribe command. You can cancel your WoW subscription with one click.

The collection of payments will now be stopped after the deadline and the subscription will not be automatically renewed.

The Unsubscribe command is not available

• Your subscription will cancel itself because you chose a one-time payment.
• You try to cancel the subscription in the time around the billing day. You have to wait for the payment to be completed. Only then is the command available again.
• There is a return debit procedure. In this case, Blizzard was unable to withdraw funds from your account. To cancel permanently, send a message to support. Your account will remain frozen until the payment or your message has been received.
