Use the data plan - cost traps lurk abroad
Lying relaxed on the beach and still staying in touch with home via the internet - it has never been as easy as it is today. - Get an Egyptian SIM card from one of the local dealers. We recommend the providers Vodafone Egypt and Etisalat - these offer the lowest prices and have very good network coverage in Egypt.
- Decide whether you want to buy a data flat rate - this is available for one month from around € 14 and includes about 6 gigabytes of surfing volume, or whether you prefer to be billed according to the volume actually used prefer; in this case, you will have to pay around € 0.12 per MB. Make sure that you do not conclude a fixed-term contract, but the Prepaid-Version to choose.
